Oh the possibilities...

Well, I have been neglecting mentioning the current affairs that have been happening in my life. While Malena has been getting much needed relaxation from the past two years, I have been finishing up my Master's requirements and searching for a church. To air everything out in form of prayer, Malena and I have desperately been praying for a church that we can call home. Last Thursday (July 3rd) we had the joy and privilege of interviewing at Cross Ridge Church in Little Elm, TX. The pastor and search team are amazing and have a deep heart for missions and evangelism. The church is growing by leaps and bounds and is needing a full-time student minister. Through a wonderful recommendation, they received my resume and the process has somewhat begun. I will meet with the pastor on Wednesday and I am quite nervous from excitement. Malena and I were both blessed in meeting the pastor and search team last week, and would absolutely love to be a part of this church in some capacity. We are urging friends and family to pray for us as we are in this transition process. We are praying for God's divine provision in our life in finding a place that we can call home. Pray that through the next series of meetings with the pastor and search team that each side will focus on God's future purpose and plan for his kingdom in that local church. God has been amazing so far and I think that he has something big...even though I don't want to voice it yet...I know there is something great in store.
