Malena and I have been busy as of late. She has started planning some wedding ideas and I love them already. The colors that she is doing are beautiful. The theme of the wedding (if I get this correct) is "Spring Country Romantic." It's going to be a fun wedding so I hope that all of our friends and family can come and enjoy.
On another note, Malena and I had the privilege of attending the Texas Rangers vs. New York Yankees game last night here in Texas. The seats were AMAZING!! We had a blast getting to hang out with our church friends and enjoying just some really fun fellowship. The game ended when in the bottom of the ninth with two outs, Byrd comes up to the plate with bases loaded and hits a walk-off grand slam to beat the Yankees 9-5. It was a great ending.
Also, recently Malena celebrated her 25th birthday on August 3rd. I think this is the age when she never gets older...I'm not sure though. She looked beautiful that day and we were able to enjoy time with her mom and friend Andy. We ate a great two meals for her Birthday and her mom ordered an amazing cake from Sublime Bakery. I love Malena very much and can't wait to see what happens with us over the next year.
And by the way...I am now the official Minister to Students at CrossRidge Church in Little Elm, TX. Let's hope I don't screw it up.
