It is certainly a special day...

Today is my mom's birthday. Especially at this time in my life, my mom has been my biggest supporter and fan. She's always cheering me on, whether I'm studying my tail off or concocting a delicious recipe with fancy ingredients. I think now, being engaged and beginning a new phase in my life, it such a comfort to have my mom as my best friend. Of course, Charles is my best friend, too, but in a very different way! All in all, it is a very special day for me because I get to celebrate with boundless joy the woman who is my mom, my inspiration and my friend. Happy Birthday, Mama. Love, Malena.
